Optima's unique construction is based on the SpiralCell Technology®. Instead of flat plates as in traditional batteries, Optima uses 2 thin, high-quality lead plates that are wound in a spiral form, with a glass-fiber insulator in between which the electrolyte is absorbed. This special production technique combined with the heavy cell connections, guarantees maximum power with minimum dimensions and weights. This makes Optima compact, robust, easy to handle and assemble.
